      Аннотация: An evaluation of the Roosevelt administration's perception of Canada, her evolution in the US politics 1939-45. From a mere business associate and a provincial British Dominion, Canada evolved into a US continental defence partner, cardinal supply provider and a loyal ally. How much Canadian freewill and coercion imposed by the powerful southern neighbour was it? 'The book analyses important and attractive topic that is still not fully unexplored. (…) It is a novel, ambitious and difficult task; yet, quite successfully completed. The subject is apt and deserves praise.' Prof. dr hab.
