      Аннотация: The Role of Informal Micro finance Institutions in Savings Mobilization, Investment and Poverty Reduction. A case of SACCOs in Tanzania from 1961-2008, is an outcome of an indepth and critical research work carried out in Tanzanian informal micro finance Institutions. The rapid growth of the Informal Financial Institutions (SACCOs) and Village Community Banks (VICOBA) in the micro finance sector economy will enable to equip the appropriate knowledge and skills on how to eliminate poverty in poor people. He is a prominent scholar (Doctor) in Micro finance, Freelance Micro finance analyst especially for SACCOs and Vicoba. Mbeya Region Patron and Adviser of VICOBA. An employee of Bank of Tanzania and a part time lecturer at Teofili Kisanji University (Mbeya). Dr. Mwakajumilo was born on the twenty fourth of October 1964 in Rungwe District, Mbeya Region. And went to local primary and secondary school, after national service he pursued an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from The Institute of Finance Management(Dar), Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy (AIA), Professional Certificate in SACCOs Management (MUCCOBS), and PhD (Microfinance) from St.Clements Uinversity.
