Tradition meets Modernity considers being an excellent reading within sociology of work and gender study. It illuminates interesting yet provocative debate about women and work deriving from the continuation of the traditional elements in industrialising Malaysia. This book is therefore specially dedicated to sociology students who have interest in work and employment; gender; public and domestic issues.
