Legal Aspects of Structured Finance. Prospects & Challenges for Nigeria

      Аннотация: This work explores, ultimately from a Nigerian law perspective, the nature of the legal relationships and issues that arises in that aspect of finance that utilizes complex legal and corporate structures to transfer credit risks or transforms them from high risk bearing assets to relatively lower risk bearing assets. At the end, the work is expected to provoke a new vista of studies into the legal aspects of structured finance, with greater attention given to what Government needs to do to minimally, yet adequately, regulate the relationships that it breeds. The usefulness of the work is incontestable; it is indeed premised on the conclusion that from that which much is expected, adequate attention ought to be given.
