Аннотация: This book is cited Nyuon W.Pal (2012): Oil Shut-Down and Inflation in South Sudan: A Case Study of Bor Town in Jonglei State. It was a dissertation for the award of Diploma in Business Administration at Dr. John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology. The research was conducted in Bor Town in Jonglei State. The main purpose of this book was to investigate the causes of food prices as a result of inflation and if the crude oil shut-down had any significant role in shaping the food commodity prices. It was meant for academic purpose therefore views expressed herein do not represent the institution's but rather the researcher's. Questionnaire and focus group were the only techniques used to capture sufficient and effective information. The objectives of the study was; to probe the impact of oil shutdown as the main cause and other causes of inflation emanating from this; and to understand the effects of inflation on the economy as well as the business community. This study proceeds with assumptions that political differences between the two states led to the closure of the borders and oil production.
