Аннотация: Firstly, the aim of the study of Modeling and Forecasting of Energy Consumption in the Manufacturing Industry in South Asia is to model energy consumption and Manufacturing Value Added (MVA) in the industry level of five South Asian countries. Secondly, the study Energy Efficiency in the Manufacturing Industry in South Asia analyses the energy efficiency at the sector level of five South Asian countries. Thirdly, the study Energy Sources and Carbon Emissions in the Manufacturing Industry (Iron and Steel industry sector) in South Asia examines CO2 emissions from electricity and fuel consumption of different energy sources consumed in the Iron and Steel Industry sector (non-ferrous included, also known as basic metal) in five South Asian countries including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Finally, the fourth study of Policy and Projects: Reduction of Carbon Emissions in the Manufacturing Industry in South Asia investigates carbon reduction policy for manufacturing industry in the sustainable development criteria based on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM); one of the three Emissions Trading System (ETS) mechanisms.
