Аннотация: Academic work in learning environment poses great challenges both mentally, physically and psychologically on the learner. The academic challenges are very stressful and different learners respond mentally to such pressures differently. Stress associated with academic activities has been linked to various negative outcomes such as poor mental health, depression as well as poor academic performance. Youths in colleges at the pursuit of their academic career face a lot of challenges that cause stress and affecting their mental health status. Mental health as a psychological phenomenon is produced by the psychological state of the body. This book contains a report of a study carried out on academic stress and mental health among the youth.
