Six Sigma in the area of finance. A valuable model for process optimization?

      Аннотация: Effective and efficient business processes promise higher profitability. Knowing this companies are nowadays real "professionals" in optimizing their core processes so that the expected return on investment of new process optimization initiatives is remarkable low. That is why support activities such as finance processes became more and more the focus of process optimization efforts. It seems entirely logical to apply the same optimization approach as for the core processes. But is this perfectly possible? Taking Six Sigma as an optimization method a profound examination for its applicability on finance processes is needed first before announcing any finance process optimization initiative following the Six Sigma approach. This book provides a sound demonstration of Six Sigma applicability in the area of finance.
