Аннотация: Sustainability is not an option but imperative. The environmental issues are complex and needs integrated approach to address them. The constitution of Ethiopia has assigned the community, the responsibility of protecting the environmental resources and the earth to such an extent that future generations inherits a sustainable environment that is worthy of leaving. The technological revolution in various sectors in the recent years has benefited to some extent for an environmentally sound and sustainable development. The agricultural sector in Tigray, Ethiopia is now undergoing process of transformation in building economic sustainability by integrating natural resource management to maintain the livelihood of the farming people. Indeed, the outcomes being observed in the region has to be kept in a sustainable manner. This book presents a comprehensive picture of sustainability. The changes from bare lands to sustainable agricultural fields have been discussed in depth.
