Аннотация: This work investigates the problem of modeling the creative component of the engineering design process in HVAC using synergetics-based methods. In this book a thorough analysis was performed (also from the philosophical point of view) regarding the use of synergetics and synergetic computer technology in engineering and HVAC design. The research has helped to introduce the novel notion of the Autonomous Design System (ADS) and to define its properties. The standard model of the synergetic computer was analyzed and modified accordingly. The major practical outcome of this research was the development of the software framework based on synergetic computer implementation which may be run on the AutoCAD platform. The recognition algorithm uses the advanced synergetic model which is optimized for one particular design task and relies solely on vector graphics information, i.e., no additional parametric data is needed. The book should help shed some light on this new and exciting synergetic theory application possibility, and should be especially useful to professionals in CAD, or anyone else who may be considering utilizing pattern recognition methods for design automation tasks.
