Investment Behaviour of Equity Investor.

Each and everybody run after money and they want to multiply their savings, more incomes and more avenues for investment have led to the ability and willingness of people to save and invest their funds. It is seen that, Indian’s are the highest savers when compared to others.Capital market is one of the places to invest money. The Indian capital market provides excellent investment opportunities to domestic investors in both the equity and fixed income segments. Indian investors form the bedrock of the Indian capital market.Equity shares, with reference to any company limited by shares, are those which are not preference shares. If an investor chooses to invest in equity shares then he is called as equity investor. The amount of investment is generally supposed to depend upon psychological and sociological factors of the investor. The objective of any investment is to minimize the risk involved in investment and maximize the return.
