Аннотация: Why does performance of students with similar cognitive abilities differ when cognitive abilities are said to contribute to the performance of students? One important component that would make this difference is motivation. A teacher, hence, has to establish a motivating environment for learning besides imparting knowledge and skills. This book provides an engaging invitation into such an environment where a composite and well controlled training programme, is developed and implemented based on the cognitive constructs of motivation involving students in academic tasks. The thoughts- action based programme involves a variety of cognitions including goal orientations, conception of self, origin and pawn behaviors and Achievement motivation. How to build the ingredients into a training situation and convert them to learning experiences? How far can the curricular contents be integrated? Whether it is possible to implement the training model in a school situation? –whether there is any effect of motivational training programme on Academic Achievement of students? Whether motivational interventions improve Academic Motivation of students? These are the questions answered in this book.
