Аннотация: The book Yogangas in Hatha Yoga Literature: Analytical Study is to explain the theory and techniques of the practice of Hatha-yoga in its proper context. Also by throwing light on the mythological, historical philosophical and physiological aspects of hatha-yoga, it draws our attention to the multi-dimensional significance of hatha-yoga tradition. The present piece of research reveals the glory of hatha-yoga tradition which has generated an immense wealth of insight into the components of the Eight limbs of hatha-yoga referred in various hatha-yoga manuals. It has the modest goal of building a preliminary frame work for our understanding of hatha-yoga tradition. This book presents the Hindu form of Hatha-yoga by endeavouring to trace its antiquity and elucidating its nature, scope, objectives and benefits derived from its practice besides throwing light on the relation of hatha-yoga with other yoga systems of Indian origin. One of the objectives of this book is to render the lay reader as well an enthusiastic scholar a systematic and comprehensive introduction to Hatha-yoga by throwing light on its different facets within the philosophical frame work of yoga.
