Аннотация: Power generation is becoming limited day by day. For increasing power we have to reduce transmission losses in power system. FACTS device can be used for reducing power transmission loss. For that reason optimal location of FACTS device is very important. This book will show how and why optimal location of FACTS device in the transmission line changes. It will also discuss the effect of series compensation on optimal location of FACTS device.
