Management Structures. A Framework for Wireless Networks in Tertiary Institutions

      Аннотация: The use of both structured and wireless networks has increased tremendously by the management entities of most Business Organizations. The integration of such networks with the Internet has led to increased exchange of Information whose security stands out as a challenging issue to most Management Units. Very little literature exist that points to the effective establishment, stable nature and managerial requirements of a wireless networks which are prone to attacks and intrusion. The Management Structures need a thorough representation and understanding of how to establish, enforce security and have effective management of the networks. This book therefore, provides for an elaborate and secure approach to the establishment and subsequent management of the wireless networks, with minimum risks to security threats and compromise to organizational information. A framework is presented that can be used by these policy makers to evaluate their Institution’s state of Computer Networks and take cognizance of parameters (indicators) that need to be considered for implementation of an effective and efficient functional Wireless Network.
