      Аннотация: Violence against women, widely recognized as a serious human rights violation, is endemic in communities and countries around the world, cutting across class, race, age, religions and national boundaries affecting millions of women worldwide. The book tries to highlight the relationship of socio-economic and demographic factors in causation of marital violence. Violence against women affects physical, social, economic, psychological, spiritual and emotional well being of the victim, the perpetrator and the society as a whole.
