Аннотация: For women and girls with disabilities, and other concomitant issues such as poverty, HIV and AIDS, and the double jeopardy of minority becomes triple jeopardy with the added element of gender. When examining the challenges faced by this group, rural women and girls with disabilities, unlike their urban counterparts face intra group issues of sexism surrounding family and community interactions. This book looks into the nitty gritties concerning this vulnerable group in triple jeopardy. It also seeks to arouse public awareness of the issues surrounding these females and identify gaps and hurdles that exist for them. The book also provides recommendations on how best to meet the formal and informal community support of the women and girls. It also provides a backdrop for understanding the aetiology of disability, poverty, gender disparities and HIV and AIDS. Its high time females with various impediments in their lives pick up their wings and fly. How high is the question right now; but fly they will. Now get a copy and start a new life!
