Аннотация: The study explored the prevalence of Learning disabilities among secondary school students in Kano State. Rating scale designed by Hammill and Bryant was adapted. Research Assistants were used to rate the students selected from 24 secondary schools. The Population of the study comprised urban, rural, private, public, boarding, day, senior, junior, male and female secondary school students respectively. Results analyzed via ANOVA and t-test reveals significant findings. Listening disability recorded the highest rate followed by speaking, reading, mathematics, writing and reasoning. Rural schools were shown to have high prevalence than urban schools. Learning disabilities was also higher in public than private and; in boarding than day schools respectively.
