Survey on use of tobacco products among health care students. Type of Survey of World Health Organization -WHO/CDC Global Health Professional Survey (GHPS)

      Аннотация: Smoking of tobacco is the oldest, most widespread and socially most acceptable bad habit of people, with explanation that it is "cheap and legal drug" The Survey on the use of tobacco products among students in health profession disciplines (Global Health Professions Student Survey - GHPSS) was done with the aim to determine the smoking status and cessation in this very important population group in terms of the impact on the attitude of people who use their services. Data survey on the prevalence of smoking among students of Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Applied Physiotherapy and Medical high school for nurses in Montenegro has enabled us to understand the epidemiology of tobacco use (the highest risk factor for premature death), tobacco addiction, methods of smoking cessation and to highlight the importance of health care providers in the prevention of smoking of health services users.
