      Аннотация: Exploring social change and Ibn Khaldun’s Sociological Insight by Heena Qadir is an attempt to analyze the broad horizon of social change in the backdrop of the dramatic sweeping changes that have incessantly transformed the very face of society across the times. Social change has been described from multidimentional viewpoints and detailed account of various theoretical inceptions have also been incorporated. Heena Qadir believes that the concept of social dynamics constitutes a fundamental issue and challenge to all academic disciplines in general and to the subject of sociology in particular and the same issue has been seriously presented here to meet the academic needs of historians and sociologists. Author maintains that Ibn Khaldun has contributed a remarkable concept of social change and is undoubtedly a significant figure to initiate a debate on sociology with special focus on social transition.
