Аннотация: Education is the process by which an individual grows, develops and becomes increasing well adjusted in a changing society. Education provides experiences that enable a person from desirable habits, broaden mental vision, deepen understanding of her study in society and acquire skills to meet and solve problems encountered every day. Mastery of material environment in itself cannot bring happiness. Knowledge is only an instrument to achieve ideals. One may have knowledge, but not judgement; one may have material power, but not spiritual vision; one may have physical strength, but not capacity. The condition of women was better during the period of Vedas, which was totally changed during the "Moguls Period" and it put into trouble. So the women lost their position and status too.Now a day’s woman has got freedom by laws in every respect. Though they have to fight to adjust with today's society for educational development. They find problems of social economical, mental and family problems. It is seen that quite a wide gap between education of boys and girls exists and the quantum of the problem is huge. Many reasons found for non-attendance of girls which are briefly discussed.
