Mental Health of School Students in relation to Emotional Intelligence. A Key to Effective Teaching

      Аннотация: The concept of ‘human nature’ and the ‘nature of mind’ are constantly under the evolutionary process due to the researches in human biology, humanistic psychology and neurosciences etc. Emotional Intelligence is one of the emerging areas in psychology which has revolutionised the process of human social communication and relationship building. Apart from Emotional Intelligence, the other types of intelligence like Mental Intelligence, Social Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence based on specific human faculties have also been worked out by the psychologist and researchers. The book helps to understand the mental health of school students in light of various factors and show relation of mental health with emotional intelligence. The knowledge about Mental Health and Emotional Intelligence enable teachers, educators, volunteers, managers, professionals to perform and understand specific functions like human action, thought, feeling and inner awareness.
