Role of HR Practices in Employee Retention. A Case Study of PTCL

      Аннотация: The main aim of the study is to investigate and determine the current human resource practices for the retention of core, competent and high performing employees in an organization i.e. PTCL (A Telecom Company, Karachi). It will assess the relationship between H.R. practices and retention. Market trends are shifting very quickly and with this remarkable change, now organizations have realized the truth that keeping the quality and correct number of work force could give them competitive advantage over their competitors. There are five important HR practices i.e. career development, supervisor support, work environment, rewards and organizational policies that influences employee retention directly.
