      Аннотация: Organic agriculture is being promoted against a background of intensive discussions about production methods, food and feed quality and renewable resources, with the overall aim of long-term sustainability. This is a reference book which describes the importance of organic cultivation of chickpea and field pea as a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. The intensive cropping coupled with imbalanced nutritional supplementation has resulted into deficiency of certain essential nutrient elements in the soil.
