Аннотация: Nanotubes are rolled up hexagonal sheets with a quasi-one-dimensional structure of nanometer-scale diameter. During last two decade, nanotubes have attracted much attention from physicists, chemists, material scientists, and engineers due to their excellent structural, electronic, optical, chemical and mechanical properties. Nanotube research, particularly in the field of biomedical and industrial applications, is becoming more important. This book covers the physical, structural, chemical and electric properties on boron nitride nanotubes, which can be useful to students and researchers working in the field of nanotubes.
