Аннотация: Supply Chain Management plays a lively function in any of the organization that constitutes a flow of goods from one place to another in the form of raw material and finished merchandise. Supply Chain for perishable products, specifically vegetables like potato in India, are quite fragmented and run through a number of mediators. These layers of intermediaries contributed significantly towards the cost rather than value of the product as such. The author, in the present work, attempted to assess barriers and challenges in the current system and terminate with the recommendation towards weeding out inefficiencies in the organization. Secondly, Grape cultivation is one of the most remunerative farming enterprises in India. The earning potential in grape cultivation is also high in India. But grape growers face a great bit of problems in grape farming and its selling. This work was directed to evaluate the ultimately trends in grape farming at national level; to study the marketing practices for grapes; to analyze the problems and challenges at various levels of grape marketing in India.
