      Аннотация: Education becomes inevitable for human resource development and all round development of a nation. Investment in human capital plays a vital role in long term productivity growth both at micro and macro levels. Therefore, there is an increasing demand for quality education in developed as well as developing nations. This is considered to be the most critical factor that determines the sustainability of economic growth of a nation. It is regarded as a priority sector in all types and forms of economic system through out the world. In this context, this book takes a good initiative to address the various approaches to education, basically at the secondary school level. By taking a case study, the book tries to focus the opportunities and challenges of education extended in the private and public schools. The study values the opinion of the students, parents and teachers in both the category of schools. Academic performance of the schools are determined on the basis of a careful examination and evaluation of a number of essential parameters.
