Аннотация: The study was carried out on an assessment of Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives on Community Development in Kenya, a Case of Airtel Kenya within Kipeto community in Kajiado County. The study was evaluated under the independent variables of infrastructure, sanitation and social amenity in relation to the dependent variable of community development. Since corporate social responsibility is in some way an avenue to enhanced organizational performance and to development and as such Kenyan companies have been embracing corporate social responsibility both in a bid to boost their performance, empower and develop communities who are part of their stakeholders. As such, the study particularly sought to establish why a telecommunication organization should engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and how the exercises lead to community development. The study was based on the premise that initiatives on community development, was carried out as part of corporate social responsibility.
