Аннотация: Nowadays the health services are challenged by upgrading demand of quality and increasing financial costs. Human resources in health play a fundamental role into transferring the modernization of medical technology and pharmaceutical advancements into a better quality and safety for patients’ care. In doing this, health professionals need a adequate platform of continuing medical education (CME) whose ultimate aim is to supply the society with knowledgeable, skilled and up-to-date cadre of professionals who undertake to maintain and develop their expertise over the course of a lifelong career. This book provides a methodological perspective of CME contribution, which hopefully will support the development of the evidence base for educational activities targeting health service providers in primary care settings. Impact evaluation of training program goes beyond measuring the knowledge increase, determining how it influences the professional performance of trainees. The results of this research should enlighten how the context factors could effect the quality of CME activities and to document relevant features, which can determine how and why some educational activities works
