      Аннотация: This book deals with an important subject in Geosciences. The focused topic of the book i.e. the Archaean schist belt of Odisha, India dominantly comprises of Banded Iron Formation (BIF) hosted iron ore deposit. Banded Iron Formation represents the most distinctive and peculiar rock types that occur wide spread in space and time throughout the Precambrian on all shield areas of the world and hardly repeated in subsequent time.
