Аннотация: In a globalized world, the international law cannot be an outlying field and without direct consequences on the daily life of the citizens anymore. It is seen that the events are spreading away, the politic decisions from one country can influence many other countries, and the conflict can increase day by day. On such circumstances the analysis of the current international law regarding the maritime areas which are not under the national jurisdiction is an actual and important issue and highlights many more aspects and topics concerning not only the Europeans but all the people of this planet. Finding solutions for one of these issues as border security, settling the conflicts in different parts of the planet, cooperating in the investment field which means jobs, economic and cultural exchange among countries with equal rights as well as an important contribution to a better world structure so that the resources can be used in order to improve step by step the living standards of the world's citizens, is not possible without a mutual confidence among countries, ties that bring people together and improve their friendship as they get to know and trust each other.
