Аннотация: It was the Black Mid-night of the winter of 1994 when suddenly the water level of Ravi arouses and everything starts drowning in the reservoir of Chamera-I. In that situation nobody was in position to understand what actually was happening. In this doldrums situation everybody was running, there was hue and cry all around in the area, everybody was running with their belongings on their heads, children in their hands and cattle being driven by their owners, nobody was recognizing anybody. In this effort, the psycho-traumatic analysis of the dam affected people has been made at micro level and the findings can be generalized in global perspective. The findings and recommendations thereof can be of a great help to the concerned persons who are in the process of policy making in such types of developmental projects round the globe. People living in the vicinity of Power Project (Non-PAP) and oustees (PAP) have been interviewed in upstream and people in downstream has also interviewed to see it's impact on social fiber.
