Аннотация: The study is significant in the context which deals with the current trajectories of Pak-Russia relations, Russian resurgence, post-2014 Afghanistan situation and emergence of multipolar world. Pakistan is currently in the process to revamp its foreign policy adopting regional approach, while resurgent Russia seeks balancing relations with Pakistan in South Asia and expand influence in the region. Rationally, at a time when geopolitical dynamics and security environment of the region altering with the draw-down of US led coalition forces from Afghanistan, the circumstances provide opportunity to Pakistan, to change western over-dependent traditional foreign policy approach, simultaneously resurging Russia also looking to strengthen relations with Pakistan to expand its immediate sphere of influence. International environment might provide chance for both nations to set aside bitterness of the past and avail the opportunities. In the backdrop of transition in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Russia are interacting with each other and discussing different bilateral, regional and global issues.
