      Аннотация: Occupational Health of Tea Workers in Assam, India portrays the social and economic conditions of tea garden workers working in the tea gardens in Assam, India. The book mainly focuses on the occupational health of the tea workers working in the tea gardens of Upper Assam,including the medical facilities available in the tea gardens as well as the precautions taken to prevent ill-health of the workers The book also deals with the environmental difficulties that the workers face due to their varied working conditions which include working in the fields as well as inside the tea factories. The study also provides a picture of the job satisfaction levels of the tea workers. Differences seen in income and other facilities among permanent and non-permanent tea workers and its effect on the occupational health of the tea workers of Assam has also been analyzed in the book.
