Аннотация: This book aims to assess the learning needs of hypertensive patients at Benha university hospital.Based on the findings of the present study the following recommendations are suggested:Replication of the study on a larger probability sample selected from different geographical area in Egypt to be able to generalize the findings of the study ,design and implement a need based program for hypertensive patients,Prepare handout related to hypertension pattern of life style modification and medication,governmental and non Governmental organizations should sponsor intensive enlightenment campaign through print and electronic media in order to sustain the knowledge level of adults on hypertension and its complications and great emphasis should be placed on the need for a community health Program in collaboration with educational institutions for the detection, prevention, and control of hypertension, including other risk factors, as well as for the modification of nutritional and life habits, specifically in individuals who are most likely to be at risk of hypertension.
