      Аннотация: There is an intrinsic relationship between sustainability of re-integration, peace building and women. Although the importance of women in post war re-integration process for sustainable peace is a well-known fact, the position of women in the process has continuously remained marginal yet the female gender is usually the one in control of the social fabric of any society whether in a secure or insecure environment. Using South Sudan, the book investigates key issues such as economic empowerment, land access and its ownership, women marginalization and lack of social rehabilitation to bring home the reality of disparity between what is known and what is practiced by both international community and national governments with each and every re-integration program from one country to another. Therefore, this book is recommended for all those seeking to understand, participate and evaluate how the re-integration process affects women in post-conflict situations because it is the first of its kind to be written by someone who has not only been directly affected by the conflict, but also participated in the repatriation of over fifty thousand refugees from Uganda.
