Note on Evergreen species in the Ealamalai Corridor of Western Ghats. A Pictorial Representation

      Аннотация: Shola/Montane wet temperate forest and Grasslands are distributing restricted region of southern Western Ghats, India, one among the most threatening ecosystem globally. These forests appear patchy forms in the Ealamalai Corridor of southern Western Ghats comprise highest rate of endemism to the overall Western Ghats, but any more study existed exclusive for these ecosystem. This study accounted 233 species includes72 species endemic to the Western Ghats; of these, 47 species are exclusive shola in the under studied forests show the biological significance of the Corridor and pictorial representation is uniqueness of the study. This baseline study useful for identifying the plants to further generation and understanding richness and diversity of climax climate vegetation
