Аннотация: This monograph on Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) in a Post- Colonial State like Nigeria is the result of special collaborative and research efforts from colleagues around the academia, whose time and expertise in the anti-money laundering field were generously shared. This is because the issue of PEPs is one of the most significant points of linkage between AML and anti-corruption efforts. And dealing with corrupt PEPs poses difficult challenges since these individuals are by definition politically influential and severally command substantial resources. This monograph addresses these challenges and offered remedies and concludes by positing that the failure of indicted politicians is a victory for Nigeria and Nigerian democracy. Written in a readable style, the monograph is indispensable to policymakers, lawyers, politicians and researchers. It should be read by all.
