Аннотация: The research topic of the book is on “Mapping of Agricultural Research in India: A Scientometric Study”. The book aims to ascertain the growth of literature, sources of publications, identification of prolific authors, institutions, core journals and calculation of activity index, etc. in the field of agriculture in India for the period 1970 – 2012. The research study on agriculture research output from Indian researcher and Institution collaborating the research carried out across the global Institutions during the study period were analyzed. The researcher analyzed the relevance of both conventional biobliometric laws and identifying the recently emerged indicators of scientometrics. The researcher also compared the world output of agriculture research with Indian agriculture research out come. The study revealed that Agriculture exhibits a gradual growth in during the study period. Single author productivity therefore is 27.71 percents while multi - author’s productivity is 72.29 percent. The collaborative Index for universal level is 3.14 which show that collaborative research pattern is more compare than solo research. The degree of collaboration C = 0.7
