Аннотация: 'Work Environment' includes the physical & geographical location as well as the immediate surroundings of a workplace. Although high salary is an asset to any career & may attract anybody at first instance, work environment is equally important. A positive & creative work environment helps to retain employees in long run, motivating them to work even harder. 'Employee morale’ is defined as job satisfaction, outlook & feelings of well-being an employee has within a workplace situation. It has a direct effect on productivity & hence it is known as one of the key factors of the successful businesses & keeping employee morale high is one of the best things one can do to instill loyalty & maintain a productive workplace. In this book, a case study of Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Govt. of Rajasthan is presented. The status of work environment & employee morale has been studied through questionnaire & personal interviews. The primary & secondary data have been collected & analyzed with the help of statistical tools to find out their results & interpretation. Based on the results, recommendations have been made. Hope the book will prove its usefulness to all concerned.
