Аннотация: One of the various problems which mankind faces as it enters into the 21st century is the crisis of waste disposal management. The large amount of scrap and worn out tyres called waste tyre rubber (WTR) discarded has been recorded as a major sources of pollutants (Karger 2013). This emerging problem obliges contemporary material usage to balance the ecology. Now a days, plastics and rubbers are extensively used in different fields of engineering because of their excellent physical properties. But, polymeric materials do not decompose easily and hence disposal of their wastages causes a serious environmental problem. Discarded waste tyres and other rubber products prepared from different elastomers contribute to one of the largest sources of pollution and it calls for urgent remedial action. The research work arrived in this book aimed at developing the natural rubber composites using the three different sizes of waste tyre rubber (WTR) and identifying the potential filler material. This book investigates various aspects of the waste tyre rubber filled natural rubber composites with regard to curing, mechanical, thermal, and damping behaviors.
