Аннотация: The present work is a study of a reform movement i.e. ‘Yug- Nirman Movement' initiated by a spiritual/charismatic person having some religious components which has spread all over India and 80 other countries. There are more than 85 million followers around, having 2400 regional centers and 50,000 local centers, and it is said that more than 16 million people have left their bad habits following its practices. Facts regarding emergence/origin, leadership, aim objectives and ideology, organization and impact/consequences, have been specifically studied in the context of 'Yug Nirman Movement’. The book also presented a bright side of social life of the followers of this movement in rural areas through reformation of individual, family and community. A humble effort has been made to present the true picture of ‘Yug- Nirman Movement' with the hope that the analysis and findings may be used for making proper policies and programme to reform the society. The findings indicate that the movement is functional for the individual, family and society.
