Contribution of Library Professionals in Maharashtra.

      Аннотация: Information is the product of the human brain in action. It may be abstract or concrete. When an individual begins to think, a variety of images and sensations flash across his mind. This makes some information to accumulate in his mind and his memory retains some pieces of knowledge. Objectives are set up for the present study. Authorship pattern of identified documents is also being studied by the researcher during the study. It is evident that out of 2054 identified documents from all over Maharashtra 276 were books, 802 were articles in journals and 786 were research papers presented in the conference/ seminar on various levels. Similarly, 90 articles were also being identified by the researcher in composite books. Experience factor plays pro-vital role in the generation of information. One of the objectives of the study are the impact of gender on the generation of information and to find out the geographical impact on the generation of information respectively. After analysis it is observed that the impact of gender as well as geographical situation is not found on the generation of information.
