      Аннотация: This book is an attempt to provide a comprehensive definition of the subject matter and scope of watershed development and management. It reviews the natural endowment of water and land resources within a watershed and describes the principal methods for its conservation. It provides geospatial approach and thinking to natural resource development. This book is an outcome of Major research project of UGC, New Delhi.It also explains the importance of Integrated watershed development in sustainable development of natural resources with changing future scenario. It also reveals the role of recent techniques like GIS, Remote sensing and GPS in watershed management and development.
