Аннотация: Groundwater resources is being contaminated especially where it is within the Landfill environment because due to time, the leachate tend to posed an effect to the groundwater regime of the area thereby making the groundwater resources not adequate for drinking. Groundwater is regarded to be the most valuable resources and its quality is affected by virtually every activity of the society thereby making groundwater protection complicated. The use of GIS as a tool and Hydrogeophysics for the assessment of the groundwater pollution has been a vulnerable and a most scientific way of assessing groundwater condition of an area Despite the provision of potable water through the state government micro water works to the people of the people of Ikeja, the populace still depends on wells (shallow and deep) for their domestic water supply. This book is basically written to serves as a guide to water engineering companies, water practioners, Borehole drilling companies, environmental engineers, ministries of water resources, and other practioners in the water industries who might be embarking on a water project especially in Ikeja Local Government, Lagos, Nigeria.
