Immunomodulatory effect of Tinospora cordifolia and Terminalia chebula.

      Аннотация: Plants are used since ancient time to control different types of problem associated with human. It is strongly belived that plants contain remedies for various diseases including AIDS, cancer, diabetes etc. Many of the plant produces exert some effect on immune system. They either enhance immune response or suppress immune response to control deterioration in the body. Most of the synthetic chemotherapeutic agents are immunosuppressants and exert variety of side effects. The herbal based immunomodulators are employed as supportive or adjuvant therapy to overcome the undesired effects of chemotherapeutics agents. Rasayana drugs are significantly more effective and highly efficacious supplement to use as a general adaptogen and immune strengthener in healthy people and as a very useful, safe and effective nutrient support tonic for those challenged by disease. Further, it would give tremendous booster to the pharmaceutical industry and research workers in future for development of dosage forms cheaper and more potent as compared to existing ones which can be used by all section especially poor against the immunomological disorders.
