University Social Responsibility and its Application in the Arab World. Book Edition

      Аннотация: Broadly talking about the term University Social Responsibility in the Arab world we consider that the higher education sector in the Arab World has an obligation of producing such students, who have a mindset that they think beyond themselves by considering themselves as responsible global citizens. It is the duty of the universities in the Arab region to play their part by teaching students beyond this textbook stuff and bring in them a sense of responsibility of serving their society; this in some ways achievable, keeping in mind the Arab culture. First by telling the students about what the current issues are in the Arab society and second by telling them what difference they can make by participating in social activities. There are some students who don’t even know the minute problems faced by masses in the Arab society, and they cannot even roughly estimate the difference they can create by just a little help.
