Аннотация: Orthognathic Surgery is the art and science of diagnosis, treatment planning and execution of treatment by combining Orthodontics and Maxillofacial surgery to correct musculoskeletal, dento-osseous and soft tissue deformities of the jaws and associated structures.Orthognathic surgery aims to correct both facial deformity and oral dysfunction. Once the jaws are correctly positioned a harmony between the facial features is acquired which results in a beautiful profile.
