A Study of Conflict in Karnad's plays. HAYAVADANA and NAGA-MANDALA

      Аннотация: Girish Karnad is regarded as one of the great writers of contemporary Indian drama. Being an actor, playwright, writer, movie director, script writer, and translator, he has become a multidimensional personality.He probes into Indian myths and legends, using them as vehicles of a new vision. Through these myths, he tries to depict the absurdity of life with all its elemental passions, conflicts and man’s eternal struggle to achieve perfection. Life in the present era is full of conflict. Any mankind of past or present era has to pass and overcome the channel of conflict.The Journey of success starts from the struggle and it ends with a struggle. The conflict never ends in any way but the way in which the character faces the struggle and finds way to come out of it becomes the important phase of one’s life. Conflict is found a tool to reach at maturity and understanding.The true potential of any person can come out not in an ease but in a conflict. The present book will identify problems that occur in human mind and human life in external or internal way. The book will be as a bucket of understanding in the vast ocean of literature.
