Аннотация: “It All Begins with Unlawful Publication, Cyber Defamation in Tanzania: Law and Practice” it is the book which entails on how development of science and technology have twisted the concept of defamation in Tanzania. I have choose this title as the fact that defamation is resulted from unlawful publication of the statements (both online and offline) from one person to another which in the end cause injuries to the person concerned. The developments of science and technology have contributed to a lot of changes from traditional world to the cyber world. Some of these changes are positive and some are negative. For instance, the transmission of information is very easy, fastest, and in large quantity and quality. This is not a problem; the problem is when such transmitted information is used negatively, and that is where a person transmitted such information get some legal responsibility. One among of those legal responsibilities is Defamation. It is from this book whereby the meaning of defamation and those changes have been explained and the legal position of various states (including Tanzania Legislations) in combating the negative impacts brought by these developments.
